Our Team
Medical Doctors (M.D.)
Also called Physicians, MDs are a regulated health profession that can assess the physical or mental condition of an individual and diagnose, treat and prevent any disease, disorder or dysfunction.
In the course of practicing the profession, physicians may communicate a diagnosis, prescribe drugs and order diagnostic testing, among other things.

Psychiatrists (M.D.)
Psychiatrists are medical doctors who have received specialized training in diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions (such as psychotherapy and medication treatment). Some work in hospitals or mental health agencies. They may also work on their own in "private practice." Because physicians are publicly-funded, one does not need to pay any fees to see a psychiatrist, even for those in private practice.

Physician Assistants (P.A.)
P.A.s are medical professionals with advanced university degrees who can assess, diagnose, investigate, treat, and prescribe under the guidance of a physician.
A P.A. serves an important role on our health care team, often acting as a first point of contact with the health care system.
These caregivers improve patient access to quality care and help you avoid urgent-care, ER or walk-in visits.
Nurses
Registered nurses, registered practical nurses and nurse practitioners, promote health and assess, provide care for and treat health conditions by supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means in order to gain or maintain optimal function.
In the course of practising the profession, certain nurses may prescribe and administer drugs and order laboratory and imaging tests.

Registered Nurses (R.N.)
RNs are a regulated health professional with a university degree in nursing and extensive training in both classroom and clinical settings.

RNs interact with patients regularly and can conduct preventive health assessments, diabetic visits, blood pressure checks, well baby exams, prenatal exams, well woman visits, and address general health concerns to promote health and maintain optimal function.
Registered Practical Nurses (R.P.N.)
RPNs are a regulated health professional with a diploma in nursing and have studied at accredited colleges in both classroom and clinical settings.
They often act as the individual's or family's first point of contact with the healthcare system.
RPNs interact with patients regularly and can take histories and conduct assessments, to help their patients promote health and maintain optimal function.
